Noel Brady Writer & Director Showreel
He has amassed a wealth of experience in the broadcast and film industry on TV shows such as Fair City, The Late Late Show and Cursai Ealine in ‘RTÉ’ and most recently the new Sharon Horgan ‘Apple TV’ production ‘Emerald’. Noel has also worked as an editor with ‘Cowshed Media’ in ‘Ardmore Studios’ in Bray and at ‘Setanta Sports’.
Noel was also recently part of panel of experts with ‘Screen Ireland’ with a discussion on film festivals as part of the ‘Actor as Creator’ scheme. This followed on from his successful short film ‘I got your letter, John Bauer’, which was made in conjunction with ‘Screen Ireland’.
Since 2005 Noel has produced and directed over 10 short films. In 2019 Noel wrote, produced and directed his first feature film, ‘Full Circle’. ‘Full Circle’ to date has won over 30 IMDB recognised awards, including ‘Best Director’ and 10 awards for ‘Best Feature film’. ‘Full Circle’ also picked up 2 distribution deals and was sold to ‘Aer Lingus’ as part of their inflight entertainment for transatlantic flights. Since then and in conjunction with ‘Screen Ireland’, Noel directed, co-produced and co-wrote another short film ‘I got your letter, John Bauer’ which has won 7 awards so far and premiered at the ‘Galway Film Fleadh’ in 2021. This was followed by another short film, ’The Weight of Time’ picking up 19 awards on the festival circuit so far.!
In 2013 Noel created a new TV show titled ‘Ghostriders’. The series followed two bikers as they journeyed around Ireland. Each episode would focus upon a different historic event with a dramatisation depicting how it came to be haunted, beginning with the tale of the ‘Hellfire Club’ and the tyrant lord ‘Buck Whaley’ who is said to have hunted men for sport in the Dublin mountains. Noel runs his own production company ‘Phoenix Artz’ and has clients that include Master Card, Chartered Accountants Ireland, Trocaire, and The Gaiety School of acting. Noel is also a tutor with the ‘Gaiety School of Acting’, and has ran hundreds of workshops over the years in ‘Acting for Camera’ and ‘Filmmaking’.
